Lochluichart Track Washout
Stobart Rail & Civils were ready to assist with labour, an RRV, ballast boxes and trailers which were all supplied at short notice by the Plant Hire team in Carlisle.
Lincoln Bypass
Stobart Rail removed 90m of track to allow sufficient room for ballast ramps (15m) and working space for the hydraulic skidding system to push the bridge into its final position, where it will support the Lincoln to Spalding rail line.
Hayle Viaduct
During a 16 day blockade we removed the track, replaced 4,500 rivets with TCBs, removed and replaced 750 life expired deck timbers, waterproofed the new timber deck and reinstated the track on this 37 span viaduct in picturesque Hayle in Cornwall.
Gospel Oak
Stobart delivered five track lowering schemes totalling 5km of track and including 1.4km of new slab track, along with 3km of new drainage. We also replaced 125 existing IBJs to facilitate the change to a modular signalling system.
